Thank You Military

It’s about time that we relieved Blanco and Nagin from their duties. While I generally like Nagin and despise Blanco, they both have failed miserably as leaders. I know that the US government didn’t want to take control of the situation, but decided that they had to. Thank God! Finally we have generals controlling the city instead of a governor that let gangs control the city and didn’t make one decent decision.

Our military is trained for this and they are smart. Louisiana’s politicians are neither. We need to get rid of our corrupt, divisive, and stupid legislators. We need brilliant, intelligent people to rebuild the city if we want it to survive and thrive. I know that my friends and I will have to step up to make New Orleans the city it can be. The young people now have a chance to build a great city… we just can’t let the old people squander the money and have business as usual.

There is so much potential.
