Tim Timminy... I've largely been a silent observer, but I do want you to know how often my thoughts are with you. A group of students from my school went down to New Orleans for Spring Break to work for legal aid and their stories are really incredible. We had a Mardi Gras fundraiser for their trip and I nearly died of happiness at the food. I miss you, I miss N.O. and I'm (selfishly) so glad I was able to see it last year, pre-Katrina. I would love, love, love to come back as soon as time and finances allow. In the meantime, much love to you and your family and friends. If the conversation and efforts here at my tiny but powerful law school in NYC are any indication... trust me, you all have NOT been forgotten.
