As my blog degrades into a politcal commentary…

Yes, I voted again. Once again, I find myself pre-voting because I’m a master at planning weekends that I will be away for. Mary Landrieu did not vote with me this time, though I’m sure she would be happier with my choices today. It was easier and faster this time: less voter demand and fewer voting choices.

The best scene was out in the street in front of City Hall. This black lady was on her cell phone shouting, “I done voted for Ray Nagin. MMmhhmmm. I voted for Ray Nagin.” Continuously. It was a great reminder, before voting, of why I was not voting for C Ray.

Hopefully this election will turn out as positive as the runoff.
