Who Dat?
I’m home from the game. It was the best game I’ve ever been to. The entertainment was amazing and the Saints were great. The dome was outrageously loud. I’m not sure how a night of football could be better.
Go Saints!!!
Update: Beave suggested that I link to Chris Rose’s article about what the game meant to the city. I know it sums up how I feel.
1 commentNew Orleans Coupons
I just got the ClipperMagazine in the mail today. It’s the first one since Katrina. I’m not a coupon person, so it’s headed directly to the trash. What is interesting is that almost everything in it is for home repair; there are coupons for new floors, carpeting, air conditioners, roofing, pools, etc.
No commentsMonday Night Football
Everyone in New Orleans is talking about monday night. It’s our first homegame in 2 years. The Saints are 2-0. This is the first game with Reggie Bush and Drew Brees. U2, Green Day, and the Goo Goo Dolls will be performing at the game. The whole football season is sold out (a first for the Saints franchise). The Falcons are really good, so who knows if we’ll win the game. I’ll be there and I’m already excited.
No commentsJury Duty Wednesday
Fortunately, my civic duty responsibility seems to have washed away. The casualty of this blessing is that there is no creative source for additional comics. This seemed to make sense when I wrote it, but now it just seems like the judges in civil court don’t every work. I should have figured that out before.

Our Mayor
100 days have come and gone. I’m not the only one who has noticed (or shall I say not noticed).
Although I’m equally glad that Couhig never had a chance of winning the position. He hasn’t seemed to help Nagin formulate any kind of plan.
